JacTravel is named UK Tour Operator of the Year 2011

JacTravel has been named UK Tour Operator of the Year 2011 in the Ukinbound Awards for Excellence. 

Ukinbound is one of the leading trade associations in the UK tourism industry and its awards are determined by the votes of its members who represent a broad cross section of the inbound tourism industry. 

The accolade comes as JacTravel posted yet another year of consistent organic growth, having won a number of prestigious overseas trade accounts and taking its turnover past £100m for the first time in its history.

Just over a year ago, the company underwent a total re-branding exercise, unifying separate operating divisions, adopting a new red and gold livery and engaging in a company-wide cultural change programme that involved every member of staff.  At the heart of the initiative was a focus on three core values, knowledge, responsiveness and imagination.  The final element of the re-branding, a new web site for trade customers, has just gone live.
