JacTravel is proud to be the only inbound tour operator in the UK to hold the Green Tourism Business Scheme award at Gold level.

The dedicated green team in our Scotland office are committed to implementing and driving forward green initiatives as outlined in our Environmental policy.

• We recycle paper, cardboard, cans, plastic bottles, batteries, ink cartridges and mobile phones 
• We are working towards a paperless file system 
• We are reducing our printed materials and replacing with online brochures 
• We support local communities and rural businesses 
• We support eating establishments who serve local produce 
• We encourage off peak business to spread the tourism season in the UK 
• We promote the Responsible Visitor Charter and our Environmental Policy to our clients and suppliers 
• We are dedicated to promoting eco-friendly products and packages to our clients through working with suppliers who hold the Green Tourism Business Scheme Award 
• We encourage the use of local transport and car share to our staff 
• We offer ongoing environmental awareness training to our staff
• We organise staff events to raise funds for local charities 
• We meet all legal compliance issues and commit to continuous environmental improvement
